Horror Legend Bruce Campbell Appearing at Frightmare
We are thrilled to announce that horror legend Bruce Campbell will be making a special appearance at the Texas Frightmare Weekend horror convention from May 23–25, 2025! Join us for this exciting event to celebrate Campbell’s iconic contributions to the genre and meet the beloved star in person.
Bruce Campbell is an iconic figure in horror cinema, best known for his role as Ash Williams in The Evil Dead trilogy. Beginning in 1981, Campbell co-executive produced and starred in The Evil Dead, which gained international acclaim and became a cult classic. He later reprised his role in Evil Dead II (1987) and Army of Darkness (1992), cementing his legacy in the genre. Campbell’s horror career expanded with films like Maniac Cop (1988), Moontrap (1989), and Mindwarp (1991).
In 2015, Campbell returned to his roots in horror with Ash vs Evil Dead, a hit TV series that revisited his character from the original trilogy. His impact on the horror genre spans over four decades, making him a fan favorite at conventions and festivals around the world.

Filmmaker Ti West Announced
We’re excited to announce that acclaimed horror filmmaker Ti West will be joining us at Texas Frightmare Weekend, May 23-25, 2025! Don’t miss your chance to meet the visionary director behind the X, Pearl, and Maxxxine trilogy, along with other horror classics.
Ti West is a renowned filmmaker, particularly known for his contributions to the horror genre as a director, writer, producer, and actor. He gained widespread recognition with the success of The House of the Devil (2009) and Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever (2009), followed by the critically acclaimed The Innkeepers (2011). He also appeared as “Tariq” in You’re Next (2011) and directed episodes of MTV’s Scream and Fox’s The Exorcist.
Recently, Ti West made waves in the horror world with his highly praised trilogy, X, Pearl, and Maxxxine, solidifying his status as a modern master of the genre. Fans can meet Ti West in person at Texas Frightmare Weekend on May 23-25, 2025!
