The Help Desk is will be able to assist with those requiring special assistance or mobility requirements.
Texas Frightmare Weekend will provide medical wristbands to individuals who identify as having accessibility needs.
This wristband will identify you to staff, security and the TFW team and indicates that you may need additional assistance.
Please request a medical wristband from the TFW Help Desk located in the Enterprise Foyer. Please note that a medical wristband does not provide admission and you must have a valid ticket. Medical wristbands do not provide early access to the show, nor does it guarantee seating or priority access to any areas of the show.
Attendees that have accessibility needs and have a companion with them may request a comp pass for their companione. The medical companion will receive a standard/general admission one-day or weekend pass and will be granted the same access to the areas of the event as the attendee needing assistance. Whatever ticket purchased, the assistant will receive the same access as the attendee needing assistance as each ticket has different perks. Line skips, free autograph, VIP gift bags and any other merchandise are not included in an assistant’s pass.
The complimentary admission pass must be collected at the time that you pick up your attendee pass.
Please feel free to contact us here to request an assistant pass in advance.
Texas Frightmare Weekend provides accessible seating, as available. Please be aware that all seating for Panels and Screenings are on a first-come, first-served basis and we cannot guarantee seating for everyone. Attendees who require accessible seating should plan to arrive to a Panel at least 15 minutes prior to the event.
Please keep in mind that all our events are very popular and seating may not be available if you wait until the last minute to get to the room. Please read the schedule and all available programs and plan your day accordingly being sure to leave more time for lines.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow priority access to autograph or photo lines at the convention. Guests frequently autograph for limited of times and to be fair for all attendees, we cannot allow an attendee to bypass any autographing lines – unless you have a VIP Pass.
We recommend arranging to have someone within your group wait in line for you. When your spot reaches the front of the line, you may re-join for your signing.
The Irving Convention Center is fully accessible. Our event maps will have the elevator location marked. There will be on-site accessibility parking. To plan ahead, please visit their website.
We were happy to offer interpreter services for the first time ever at our 2023 event. However, we received no confirmed requests for interpreters. Due to extremely low demand, Texas Frightmare Weekend will no longer offer interpreters starting with our 2024 event. We apologize for the inconvenience.
