These appearance policies have been established in cooperation with Robert Englund and his team and are not subject to change through social media discussions. We understand that some attendees may be disappointed, but negative, hostile, or disruptive comments regarding these rules will be removed. Individuals who disregard this policy may be banned from our social media pages. We appreciate your cooperation and respect for everyone involved.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE PAGE BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS OR MAKING PLANS TO ATTEND.

We are incredibly excited to welcome the legendary Robert Englund to Texas Frightmare Weekend 2027!

However, due to Robert’s extraordinary popularity, limited signing availability, and specific requirements established by his team, his appearance will be handled differently from most of our other celebrity guests.

PLEASE NOTE: Only a VERY limited number of attendees will have the opportunity to purchase Robert Englund’s autograph at this event.

Due to his popularity and limited signing schedule, Robert’s appearance will primarily focus on professional photo ops, allowing significantly more fans the opportunity to meet him.

Purchasing a professional photo op is the only way to secure a scheduled opportunity to meet Robert Englund at Texas Frightmare Weekend 2027, subject to his appearance and the applicable photo op terms.

Attendees should NOT purchase convention admission with the expectation that they will be able to obtain Robert’s autograph.

EXTREMELY LIMITED AUTOGRAPH AVAILABILITY

Robert will sign autographs for a predetermined amount of time during the convention.

With thousands of attendees expected, we anticipate that fewer than 200 attendees will have the opportunity to purchase an autograph during the entire weekend.

IMPORTANT: This number refers to the number of ATTENDEES, not the total number of autographs Robert may sign.

Attendees who are called into his autograph line may purchase a maximum of two autographs per person, subject to availability.

Because demand will greatly exceed the number of available signing opportunities, there will be no traditional first-come, first-served autograph line.

Instead, Texas Frightmare Weekend will conduct a free Random Selection Drawing to determine which attendees receive Virtual Queue Passes.

BEING SELECTED DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN AUTOGRAPH OR EVEN ENTRY INTO ROBERT’S AUTOGRAPH LINE.

A Virtual Queue Pass provides only an assigned position in the virtual queue for a possible opportunity to purchase an autograph.

Even selected attendees may never be called into Robert’s line.

We strongly encourage everyone to review the following rules carefully.

RANDOM SELECTION DRAWING — EXPECTED APRIL 2027

THE DRAWING IS NOT OPEN AT THIS TIME.

Registration for the Robert Englund Autograph Virtual Queue Random Selection Drawing is expected to begin in April 2027.

We will announce the official opening date, closing date, eligibility requirements, and registration instructions in advance.

Estimated Registration Timeline

OCTOBER–NOVEMBER 2026

Initial announcements regarding Robert Englund’s appearance, autograph restrictions, and the Random Selection Drawing process.

FEBRUARY–MARCH 2027

Publication of the complete official drawing rules, eligibility requirements, and registration instructions.

APRIL 2027

Free registration is expected to open for approximately two weeks. Exact opening and closing dates will be announced in advance.

LATE APRIL 2027

Primary and Standby Virtual Queue Pass holders will be selected at random. Selected attendees will be notified and provided instructions for confirming their participation.

EARLY MAY 2027

Finalization of the Virtual Queue Pass holder lists, assigned signing days, and other necessary arrangements.

PLEASE NOTE: This schedule is tentative and subject to change. All official registration dates, instructions, and updates will be announced through our website and official social media channels.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER

ENTERING THE RANDOM SELECTION DRAWING IS FREE.

You do not need to purchase a Texas Frightmare Weekend admission ticket to enter the drawing or be selected.

Purchasing convention admission does not improve your chances of selection.

However, valid convention admission IS required to attend the event and participate in Robert Englund’s autograph queue.

A Virtual Queue Pass does not include convention admission, an autograph, or a guarantee of entering Robert’s autograph line.

OFFICIAL APPEARANCE & AUTOGRAPH POLICIES

1. PROFESSIONAL PHOTO OPS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

Robert’s appearance at Texas Frightmare Weekend 2027 will primarily focus on professional photo ops.

Because Robert can accommodate significantly more professional photo ops than autographs, we strongly recommend purchasing a professional photo op if meeting Robert is important to you.

Professional photo ops are separate from the autograph drawing and do not require participation in the Random Selection Drawing.

Professional photo ops are the ONLY opportunity for attendees to have their photograph taken with Robert Englund.

No photographs or selfies will be permitted at his autograph booth.

A professional photo op purchase secures a scheduled photo opportunity, subject to Robert’s appearance and the photo op terms. It does not include an autograph.

2. STRICT NO PHOTOGRAPHY OR RECORDING POLICY

ABSOLUTELY NO PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO RECORDING, OR AUDIO RECORDING OF ANY KIND WILL BE PERMITTED AT ROBERT ENGLUND’S AUTOGRAPH BOOTH. NO EXCEPTIONS.

The following restrictions will be strictly enforced:

• NO selfies or personal photographs with Robert.
• NO photographs of Robert signing autographs.
• NO photographs of Robert interacting with attendees at his booth.
• NO video recording of any kind.
• NO audio recording of any kind.
• NO use of recording devices, including Meta smart glasses, wearable cameras, or other audio/video recording equipment.

These restrictions apply to everyone, including attendees selected through the Random Selection Drawing.

Robert’s team has established these requirements to eliminate unnecessary delays and keep his autograph line moving as efficiently as possible.

PROFESSIONAL PHOTO OPS ARE THE ONLY WAY TO HAVE YOUR PHOTO TAKEN WITH ROBERT.

THIS POLICY WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. NO EXCEPTIONS.

3. NO VIP LINE PRIVILEGES

There will be NO VIP line skips or other VIP line privileges for Robert Englund’s autograph line.

All attendees, including VIP pass holders, must participate in the same Random Selection Drawing.

VIP admission does not increase your chances of selection, provide priority in the Virtual Queue, or guarantee an autograph opportunity.

4. RANDOM SELECTION DRAWING REGISTRATION & ELIGIBILITY

Registration for the Random Selection Drawing will be free.

The following rules apply:

• No convention admission purchase is necessary to enter or be selected.
• Each individual may submit only ONE entry.
• Duplicate entries will be disqualified.
• All eligible entries will have an equal chance of selection.
• Entering earlier during the registration period does not increase your chances.
• Attendees will be selected at random after registration closes.
• Purchasing VIP or general admission does not improve your chances of selection.
• Entering the drawing does not guarantee that you will receive a Virtual Queue Pass.

Complete eligibility requirements and registration instructions will be announced before registration opens.

5. PRIMARY VIRTUAL QUEUE PASSES — 150 SELECTED ATTENDEES

A total of 150 attendees will be randomly selected to receive Primary Virtual Queue Passes.

Each selected attendee will receive an assigned day (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) and a Virtual Queue number.

The following rules apply:

• Your assigned day will be determined in advance.
• Requests for specific dates or times will not be accepted.
• Assigned days cannot be changed.
• You must have valid convention admission for your assigned day.
• You must be present and available when your Virtual Queue number is called.
• Only attendees whose numbers are called may enter Robert’s autograph line.
• Primary Virtual Queue Passes are valid ONLY on the assigned day.
• Primary passes do not roll over to another day.

IMPORTANT: WINNING A PRIMARY VIRTUAL QUEUE PASS DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN AUTOGRAPH.

It guarantees only an assigned position in the virtual queue on your designated day.

Even if you are one of the 150 Primary Virtual Queue Pass holders, your number may NEVER be called.

Texas Frightmare Weekend cannot guarantee that every selected attendee will be admitted into Robert’s autograph line.

6. STANDBY VIRTUAL QUEUE PASSES — 100 SELECTED ATTENDEES

An additional 100 attendees will be randomly selected to receive Standby Virtual Queue Passes.

These passes will remain eligible throughout all three days of the convention.

However, Standby passes will ONLY be called if additional autograph opportunities become available.

The following rules apply:

• Standby passes do not guarantee entry into Robert’s autograph line.
• Standby passes will only be called if additional signing opportunities become available.
• Standby pass holders must have valid convention admission for any day on which they are called.
• Standby passes remain eligible throughout the weekend unless called or expired at the conclusion of the event.

IT IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE THAT NONE OF THE 100 STANDBY VIRTUAL QUEUE PASS HOLDERS WILL BE CALLED DURING THE WEEKEND.

Standby passes provide only a possible opportunity if Robert’s schedule allows for additional signing.

7. SELECTION NOTIFICATION & CONFIRMATION

Following the drawing, selected attendees will receive information regarding their Virtual Queue Pass status.

Primary pass holders will be notified of their assigned day and queue number.

Selected attendees may be required to confirm their participation within a specified period.

Confirmation instructions and deadlines will be provided when selection notifications are issued.

If a selected attendee declines or fails to confirm by the stated deadline, Texas Frightmare Weekend may reassign that queue position to another eligible entrant.

There is no fee to receive or confirm a Virtual Queue Pass.

8. OFFICIAL TFW APP & PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

ALL SELECTED VIRTUAL QUEUE PASS HOLDERS WILL NEED THE OFFICIAL TEXAS FRIGHTMARE WEEKEND MOBILE APP DURING THE CONVENTION.

Our updated app is currently in development. Download instructions and additional information will be announced before the event.

Virtual Queue numbers will be called through push notifications sent using the official TFW app.

Selected attendees must:

• Download and install the official Texas Frightmare Weekend app before attending.
• Enable and allow push notifications.
• Keep notifications enabled and monitor them throughout their assigned day.
• Standby pass holders must monitor notifications throughout the weekend for any day on which they wish to remain available.
• Follow the instructions provided when their number is called.
• Report promptly to the designated autograph line location when instructed.

ATTENDEES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THEIR NOTIFICATIONS.

Missing a notification or failing to report when instructed may result in forfeiture of the autograph opportunity.

Selected attendees who require disability-related assistance with the notification process may contact the Texas Frightmare Weekend accessibility team.

9. VIRTUAL QUEUE PASSES DO NOT GUARANTEE AUTOGRAPHS

NO AUTOGRAPHS ARE GUARANTEED.

This is one of the most important rules regarding Robert’s appearance.

Being selected to receive a Virtual Queue Pass guarantees only an assigned position in the queue.

It does NOT guarantee:

• That your Virtual Queue number will be called.
• That you will be permitted to enter Robert’s autograph line.
• That Robert will have sufficient time to accommodate you.
• That an autograph will be available for purchase.

Robert will sign for a predetermined amount of time, and his schedule is subject to change.

Unexpected delays, scheduling changes, or other circumstances beyond our control may prevent selected attendees from receiving an autograph opportunity.

EVEN PRIMARY VIRTUAL QUEUE PASS HOLDERS MAY NEVER BE CALLED.

Texas Frightmare Weekend cannot guarantee that Robert will sign for every selected attendee.

All autographs are subject to availability and must be purchased separately and directly at Robert Englund’s booth.

10. ONE PERSON PER VIRTUAL QUEUE PASS

Only the selected Virtual Queue Pass holder may enter Robert’s autograph line when their number is called.

Children, friends, family members, spouses, and other guests may not accompany the selected attendee into the line, except where a reasonable disability-related accommodation is necessary.

Please make childcare arrangements in advance if necessary.

ACCESSIBILITY ACCOMMODATIONS: Attendees who are selected to receive a Virtual Queue Pass and have questions about disability-related accommodations are encouraged to contact the Texas Frightmare Weekend accessibility team.

Reasonable accommodations will be handled individually and do not provide an exemption from the Random Selection Drawing or additional autograph opportunities. Assistance with accessing the registration process will also be available when needed.

11. MAXIMUM OF TWO AUTOGRAPHS PER ATTENDEE

Attendees whose numbers are called and who are permitted to enter Robert’s autograph line may purchase a maximum of TWO autographs per person, subject to availability.

This limit applies to the number of autographs purchased by each attendee, not the number of attendees selected through the drawing.

A Virtual Queue Pass does not guarantee the availability of one or two autographs.

All autographs must be purchased separately and directly at Robert Englund’s booth.

12. VIRTUAL QUEUE PASSES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE

Virtual Queue Passes are issued exclusively to the selected individual.

Passes cannot be sold, traded, transferred, exchanged, or reassigned by the pass holder.

If you cannot attend on your assigned day, your Primary Virtual Queue Pass will be forfeited.

Please notify Texas Frightmare Weekend as soon as possible if you cannot attend so another eligible attendee may be selected.

13. PRIMARY PASSES ARE VALID ONLY ON THEIR ASSIGNED DAY

Primary Virtual Queue Passes are valid ONLY for the day assigned.

If your number is not called during your designated day, your pass expires at the conclusion of that day’s signing opportunities.

Primary Virtual Queue Passes will not roll over to another day.

Standby Virtual Queue Passes are handled separately and remain eligible throughout all three days of the convention, subject to availability.

14. ASSIGNED DAYS CANNOT BE CHANGED

All Primary Virtual Queue Pass holders will be assigned to Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Requests for specific dates or times will not be accepted.

Assigned days cannot be changed.

If you cannot attend on the day assigned to you, please notify Texas Frightmare Weekend as soon as possible so another eligible attendee may be selected.

15. VALID CONVENTION ADMISSION IS REQUIRED

Although entering the Random Selection Drawing is free, valid Texas Frightmare Weekend admission is required to attend the convention and participate in Robert Englund’s autograph queue.

• Primary pass holders must have admission valid for their assigned day.
• Standby pass holders must have admission valid for the day on which they are called.
• A Virtual Queue Pass does not include convention admission.
• A Virtual Queue Pass does not include an autograph.
• Purchasing convention admission does not guarantee selection or an autograph opportunity.

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE CONVENTION ADMISSION WITH THE EXPECTATION THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO OBTAIN ROBERT ENGLUND’S AUTOGRAPH.

Autograph opportunities will be extremely limited, and most attendees will not have the opportunity to purchase one.

IMPORTANT FINAL REMINDERS

FEWER THAN 200 ATTENDEES ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE AN AUTOGRAPH OPPORTUNITY

This refers to the anticipated number of attendees, NOT the total number of autographs Robert may sign.

150 PRIMARY VIRTUAL QUEUE PASSES

Primary pass holders receive an assigned queue position for a designated day. Selection does not guarantee their number will be called, entry into Robert’s autograph line, or an autograph purchase.

100 STANDBY VIRTUAL QUEUE PASSES

Standby pass holders will only be called if additional signing opportunities become available. It is possible that none will be called.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER THE DRAWING

Registration is free. Convention admission is not required to enter or be selected, but is required to attend and participate in Robert’s autograph queue.

NO VIP LINE PRIVILEGES

VIP admission does not provide priority access, line skips, or increased odds of selection.

MAXIMUM TWO AUTOGRAPHS PER PERSON

Attendees who are called into the autograph line may purchase up to two autographs, subject to availability.

DRAWING REGISTRATION IS EXPECTED IN APRIL 2027

The drawing is not open yet. Official registration dates, eligibility requirements, and instructions will be announced in advance.

A FINAL MESSAGE TO OUR ATTENDEES

We recognize that Robert Englund is a dream guest for countless horror fans, and we understand that some of these restrictions may be disappointing.

However, these procedures are necessary to accommodate Robert’s limited signing availability, manage extraordinary demand, and comply with the requirements established by Robert and his team.

Our goal is to communicate these policies as clearly as possible so attendees understand what to expect before making plans.

We cannot promise everyone an autograph. We cannot even promise that every attendee selected for a Virtual Queue Pass will have the opportunity to purchase one.

What we can promise is that we will make every effort to operate this process fairly, efficiently, and with clear communication throughout the weekend.

For the overwhelming majority of fans who want to meet Robert, professional photo ops will be the best and most reliable option.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding, patience, and cooperation.
